What We Offer

Our Sedation Dentistry Services

Nitrous Oxide

Inhaled through a small mask, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) creates a calm, relaxed feeling within minutes. It wears off quickly, allowing you to drive home after your appointment.

Oral Sedation

A prescription sedative taken orally before your appointment produces a deeper level of relaxation. You remain conscious but deeply calm. A driver is required.

IV Sedation

Administered intravenously for deeper sedation — ideal for complex procedures or severe anxiety. You may have little to no memory of the treatment.

Common Questions

FAQs About Sedation Dentistry

Q.Am I a good candidate for sedation dentistry?

If you experience dental anxiety, have a strong gag reflex, need extensive treatment, or have had traumatic dental experiences, you may benefit from sedation. We'll review your medical history at your consultation.

Q.Is sedation dentistry safe?

Yes, when administered by trained professionals. Dr. Basi is trained in sedation administration, and your vitals are monitored throughout the procedure.

Q.Will I be unconscious?

For most sedation options (nitrous oxide and oral sedation), you remain conscious but deeply relaxed. IV sedation produces deeper sedation where you may have little memory of the appointment.

Q.Can I drive after sedation?

Not for oral or IV sedation — you'll need a responsible adult to drive you home and stay with you. Nitrous oxide wears off quickly and driving is usually fine after a short recovery period.
